I wouldn't call it stereotyping. More like turning the slang into the word. Language changes and meanings are given based on the culture's view of it. I see no problem with it..

though I doubt that will stop the anime vs cartoon arguements on forums anyway. I don't see this as being worth losing sleep over.

You put it differently.

But yeah.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Totally unrelated, but OMDW, you changed your avatar. And yet...it's the same.

It's an experiment for Halloween ^^

I'm sorely tempted to keep it.

An experiment? The hell? I just figured you wanted to keep the same pose as your Kare Kano avatar :). I liked that one better BTW ;)

Well, I did choose it because the pose is spookily similar.

And sorry to drag this even farther off topic, but which one do you like more exactly?

I liked the Kare Kano one more. It's kind of like how everyone was used to my Soujirou avatar. I was just used to it...you hotty you.

I like that definition, its clear and concise. Here is an addition.

Anime = from asia, like Japanese, China, and other asian countries

Cartoons = from the united states.

Too bad that generalization is WRONG. Anime is a term from the Japanese and thus is for Japanese Animation.

Korean and Chinese Animations have been called just that Korean and Chinese Animations.
