First thing, I am like one of the 2 DBZ fans left on the internet.

I think not...the news for Thursday on something awful's front page proves that.

I used to like it, the original series was better but I would think it would be even more censored than Z. An interesting conversation between a friend of mine in 1998 made me think. I said Dr. Slump, if shown in it's original sexual and potty humor context would be given a mature rating here since people classify sex in that catagory even if it's silly. He said that seems backwards, Dr. Slump's and DB crude humor seems immature in it's comedy. I would have to agree :p

In other words, Americans have an odd way of determining ratings based on content and not context.

For the record, I'm still a fan of DBZ, despite how much I make fun it. It still has some good nostalgia value to it.

thats kind of true for me. DB and DBZ hold nostalgic value for me, but the english dubs that are available on tv are just terrible. I mean it gives anime in general a bad name. Because of it a lot of people think anime is entirely for kids, and full of stupid characters that all look the same.
