Blood: the Last Vampire has both languages in the move and it's really good.

The FLCL dub job rocks. Plain and simple. Especially Kamon, Haruko, and Amarao. That is all. Thank you. :)

flcl has a good dub but it still can't hold a candle to the sub ... but it's my general opinion that english dubs are evil, exspecialy after seeing the old akira dub. If it's original language is japanese (nearly all anime), then i'll watch it in japanese, if it's original language is german (run lola run) then thats what i watch it in and so on. This way it's closer to the artists original visoion, since you doon't get changes made to match the mouth movments and so on.

dubs = betterthanthesubsineveryway

Okay not really, but there have been many cases where I prefered the english VAs. I also prefer watching the dubs. Maybe its just because I feel more comfortable with english than japanese which I only know like 5 words of. :?

well my fan-boi japanese vocabularly isn't any bigger then yorus, but when i'm alone, i watch teh subs. when i'm with other people, as an odd way of being considerate i watch the dubs. ANd it is odd, because depending on what anime, the dubs can do quite a bit of damage to your ears ... ie Auska and Ida(?) from Eva. Thats probably one of the reason's i always watch anime on my laptop in my room.

Well I've never seen Eva so I can't say anything about those two, but I've found that I actually like a lot of the VAs that you guys don't (like Escaflowne for instance). Sure there still is the ocassionally one that does bugs me a little bit. But I have yet to find one that I really didn't like.

i didn't like the eva dub, the general opinion is that it's horrible. Most people hate Shinji's voice, but i think just about evry one elses voice is worse ... except rei ... she dosn't talk much so it's not that bad.

Vampire Hunter: D was terrible. bloodlust was better, but i still didn't like some parts of the dialoug, they were rushed when more time was required for the emotions being conveyed.

Esca - dwchang ahtes this one, he sees it as being very bland and unemotional ... i think he likes the series *too* much. i thought the dub was acceptable, but i still would rather watch the sub.

I've only seen Bloodlust, and I found the "hand" quite amusing.

yea teh hand is pretty funny, but you hsould watch VH:D, it's animation is subpar, and the dub VA's should be hung, drawn and quartered ... but if you get past that it's pretty cool.
