Safe Anime?

Manga, not anime.

I'd say "Oh! My Goddess" would be a safe bet. "Lone Wolf And Cub" MIGHT be passable (some violence and sexual stuff). If there were English versions of the Azumanga Daioh compilations (which I sadly doubt), I'd DEFINITELY say go for that, too.

Which one are you refering to? The reason is that there IS a Cowboy Bebop manga. I saw a couple people in my dorm have one of those.

If that's what Kthultu's talking about, yes there most definately is a Cowboy Bebop manga. The proof lies on my book shelf...I have the whole series. Cowboy Bebop 1-3 and Shooting Star 1-2.

The problem with the Bebop manga is Faye Valentine. I don't recall any specific nude scenes, but it may be a bit on the iffy side. I'd also recommend the Inu manga, except there are some Kagome fan services... Kare Kano (probably translated as "His and Her Circumstances") might be safe too.

There's an ad by ADV in September's Newtype for both the Full Metal Panic and Azumanga Daioh manga (although I'm not sure if it's the same compilation you're referring to). The Full Metal Panic manga is already out, so I'd assume Azumanga will also be out pretty soon.

Basically anything by Clamp. They keep their mangas to a low on language and stuff (with the exception of X/1999).

Heh. Clamp's play on Hideki as both a unique character and an awful, exaggarated male stereotype is just too much to not laugh.

Nope, there is still Clamp that cannot be quite called Safe. Chobits, from all perspectives, is quite risque.

On the other hand, Angelic Layer's got to be a good one. Has the manga been translated for that yet?
