i think i read somewhere that ffu was cancelled, thats why the endin kinda seemed rushed. i enjoyed the series.. but im a big ff fan aswell.. it was cool gettin to see the monsters/summons/gfs..(whatever) in the anime.
i think its enjoyable if you know of ff.. but if you hate ff u may not like it

Final Fantasy Unlimited has always been one of my guilty pleasures really... and I found the show to be really cool. It was like a FF but not, in its own right. What I never got though is why people hate the rehashed fotage. I mean, everytime I saw Kaze show up and transform the demon gun I marked out. But I guess that its just me, as you're talkin' to one of the biggest Ronin Warrior fans of all time here... Anywho, ADV has dubbed FF:U over, and will be selling the dvds in the next month or so, which I know I'm most definatly going to buy... Probly because I'm just such a huge Final Fantasy Unlimited buff...
P.S. And as a side note, for those of us who thought that the ending was abrupt, rushed, etc. there is a thing that I had purchased at Otakon this year called Final Fantasy Unlimited After... it reviews the series, and then gives and after math to the series all in glorius manga form, but then only to switch to text, with some really cool looking pictures... And as of right now, Square is working on Final Fantasy Unlimited Before to help flesh out some of the other stories...

I guess I should say something witty here right...? Too bad...
