What's your favorite "CRAPPY DUBBED" anime series?

they could atleast get close to it. Excel's voice wasnt close at all, though i realized no person can speak english as fast as the japanese voice actress speaks japanese, i was expecting it to be atleast OK. But as i said ADV sucks, so ADV will do a crappy job of that show too --;

The dub is "unculturally incorrect"

NOBODY I know in the ENGLISH language calls me "Joseph-sensei" or "Joseph-sama"

Kaoru-sama and Aoi-chan spoken in English dialect is just WRONG...

Miss Aoi, Master/Mister Kaoru, Mister Hanabishi, Miss Miyabi...

THOSE are correct translations...

They were using GOOD voice actors too but to use such dialect is just dumb. The SAME voices are heard in Please Teacher and yet their director was smart and they just added a "miss/hey/mr./etc." to the syllables spoken...

Listen to Sorcerer Hunters and Those Who Hunt Elves. Just cause Excel's dub is considered bad [actually, for me, it's VERY commendable to find someone who can come CLOSE to Excel's yapping speed] doesn't mean all their dubs are bad...

Currently, Media Blasters are the Dubbing Lords of Anime... ADV tied with Pioneer in second place [though Pioneer lends out their voice actors or shares the voice acting studios with Bandai]

You want a Bad Dubbing company? Anime 18 [cough] and U.S. Manga Corps. (I'll admit, they made SOMETHING smart with Shamanic Princess)

Actually other companies would have gotten the rights to the shows ADV did so it would actually be BETTER if we were without them.

you didnt even mention tokyopop when its one of the better companies out there at the moment. You cant beat Dave Lucas and Wendee Lee --;

I heard the Love Hine dub was pretty bad.

I wasn't feeling the dubbing job for Medabots on Fox. Best one that I've seen was probably Cowboy Bebop, with Sorcerer Hunters and Eva just behind it.
