Galaxy Express is kinda boring, takes alot of patience to really enjoy it. Watched it on Space when the channel first came out. Plus I thought the dub sounded like crap.

Star Blazers (Star Cruiser Yamato) is why I'm an anime fan to begin with.

I love the work of Matsumoto, but I don't think his stuff is as good as Ghibli or Gainax... but he is one of my favorites.

I'm a big fan of Yamato, but I didn't get into Harlock (Galaxy Express 999 is part of the Harlock Saga if I'm not mistaken)

Also love the music videoes he's been doing for Daft Punk (he was 70 while doing the last one!)

Even if you don't like his stuff, you have to respect the man. His work got a lot of people into anime and inspirted a lot of younger men who went into the field. He's just one of the greats.

Personally, I love his art and his art style and I will always thank him for getting me into anime.

Oh...

Also thought I'd mention that a man who has been in the business for over 30 years and STILL WORKING should give you at least a moment of pause.

Squall3X wrote:Well, Harlock saga looked pretty cool from a preview i saw... oh well... Hey Fellowhoodlum, a VERY long time ago, I saw your final fantasy 9 video for Elavation by U2. Nice stuff. Except I wanna know how you sped up the CG scenes like that, and what you used to extract them from the PSX game. that would help alot. thanks.
Thanks :D You may leave a review, it's much appreciated :D :D

For your second question, I got the ripper software here:

And for your first question, I used Adobe Premiere to make amvs and it was just a simple matter of setting the speed of the clip in the timeline.

Actually galaxy express is not part of the Harlock saga not until recently when he's been trying to bring the whole jumbled mess together.

Oh yeah, and anyone who doesnt like Galaxy Express just don't say anything cause its awsome and you have to have a required taste for it, meaning that it's a different kind of anime since its from 1979.
