Main characters Vash and Kenshin - Both with an oath not to kill.
Legato=Black semi long hair with strang coat who controls a group of strange fighters(Gungho Guns)
Aoshi=Black semi long hair with a strange coat who controls a group of strang fighters(oniwaban(sp) group)
Wolfwood=Man with a sad past and a giant weapon covered in a tan cloth.
Sanouske Sagara = Man witha sad past and a giant weapon covered with a tan cloth.
So i have come to the conclusion that either way one of them has greatly inspired the other, maybe its just me
if you do this with all anime you'll realize that ::gasp:: they all have similarities

That Shinsengumi page lists Saito as eventually coming to work as a security guard in a museum in his later life. I pity the man that attempts to steal something from that museum.

Trigun > Kenshin in my eyes. Mainly because I enjoyed Trigun almost 100%, start to finish, and certain aspects were more moving than Kenshin. They took the no killing policy a LOT farther in Trigun (I mean, Vash would die to save his enemy's life, whereas Kenshin would simply try NOT to kill his enemies). Kenshin was too inconsistant and predictable, I still liked it, but there were times that were just so dull and pointless. Plus too many of the more minor characters play out stereotypes and lack depth.
The best effects are the ones you don't notice.

I disagree wholeheartedly. Kenshin's characters were FAR more interesting than anything in Trigun. Can you even name anything interesting about half of the Gung Ho Guns?SSJVegita0609 wrote:Trigun > Kenshin in my eyes. Zazie the Beats? Kain the Longshot? Something the Cyclone? etc. ALL of them had NOTHING. They were pointless and didn't add ANYTHING to the story. I might also add that most of the "fights" weren't fights at all and were also boring.
As for the killing part, I disagree again. The episode where Kenshin fights Cho is an excellent example of how deeply Kenshin feels about protecting life. Also Kenshin's past is quite a bit more interesting than Vash's. Kenshin killed QUITE a few people..willingly (not like the city incident for Vash).
So:
Deeper characters/villains + more tragic past + more interesting story = Kenshin > Trigun (for me

Don't even get me started on the art. You must admit that Trigun's art is meh. Also, we are talking about Kenshin right? Not that Sony crap made where they don't follow the manga?
Given, I did see Trigun after Kenshin which I have noticed that most people who see them this way feel similarly.
