Africa IS called the Dark Continent. And it has nothing to do with it's inhabitants, it has to do with the rain forest there and the fact that it was unexplored for so long.

ummm last time i checked Voodoo was a fear based religion from Hati ... Fear based as in every one shitrs them selves when the voodo witch doctor/shamen comes around. But i could be wrong.

Voodoo IS from Haiti. I believe Africa was once called the Dark Continent for, well, reasons that should be obvious, not for anything related to voodoo.

That's true, but it's roots are in Africa. Voodoo is from Haiti, but the various things it was based on are from Africa.

Err... actually, the devil Shed was a translating mistake. It was supposed to be Set, which is clearly Egyptian.

anyway, Set = Apep (i think)

also its quite plausable that there actually was no glitch in the translation, because -and i know this for a fact because i speak Hebrew- Shed is hebrew for devil.

regardless of this however, when i fears heard 'the devil shed' i thought he meant it like 'shed of the devil', like the devil's shed snake skin.. which imho also makes alot of sense, but i degress
