Just thought I'd bring it up.
Most people deal with death everyday, they just don't realize it. every action they do stems from some desire to "live" on, even if only in teh memories of other people.

and on another note, some people just don't find a lot fo thigns scary 'cause there's nothing to be scared of. no use in being scared when watchinga movie 'cause nothing directly in teh movie is gonna kill you.

it's kinda like with roller coaster rides and such. there's almost a zero chance your life isn't in danger so there's no use being scared.

Dying- Since the day you were born....

Just because there's no chance of you dying from a movie or roller coaster, most people's bodies still get the rush and are afraid anyway. Let's take the relatively new movie "The Ring" for instance. It was claimed the scariest movie of the year. It wasn't scary to me. It probably wasn't scary to you, but apparently, it was scary to everyone else who watched it. And the reason why? Most likely the scenes that come out of no where and arn't that grotesque, but just enough so to scare the bejezubus out of you in surprise. Where's the death threat in that?
No where, but it apparently still frightened people.

Watch the orginal cult Japanese live-action movie 'Ring' sometime, preferably on VHS. A lot of horror movies are at their most effective viewed alone late at night, but I know people who saw that in full daylight with other people around and *still* say it's the scariest film they've ever seen.

In my day, girls jumped when a Wise One said jump, and continued jumping until they were told to stop. As I am still alive, it is still my day. Need I make myself clearer?

My fav. WOT character is probably Lan...he has a striking resemblance to Aragon.

Lan >> Aragorn >> Else. Have you read George R. R. Martin's 'A Song of Ice and Fire'? That's very, very good.

I've wanted to watch Ringu for some time now(it hasn't been on my top list of things to do, though) but everytime I go to Blockbuster it's always checked out. That's funny, though, because they only have one copy....
[scary Ring music ensues]
Oh man, speaking of which, I need to get "The Ring" OST... That was some good music....
