That wsn't depressing ... that was one of the scenes that got me interested in that series ... The depressing part is at the end how naota is sorta abandoned after maimi and haruko leave. I'd have hated to be stuck in that situation, plus your left with Canti around to remind you of all the cool shit that had happened while Haruko was around and the fact that you sorta could have gone with her.

I was actually more upset to see Legato die. In my opinion greatest death scene in any anime.

See, I felt worse for Haruko in FLCL than I did for Naota. All that time she was there trying to get to Atomsk, and then Naota ruins it. Probably has something to do with the fact that I like Haruko a lot more than Naota, but still.

And Misato dieing was incredibly sad. Down with End of Eva and it's killing of the best character.

See, I felt worse for Haruko in FLCL than I did for Naota. All that time she was there trying to get to Atomsk, and then Naota ruins it. Probably has something to do with the fact that I like Haruko a lot more than Naota, but still.

Atomsk was sitting right there ... i don't think Haruko would have known how to tap into his power, because he was there flying around and all haruko did was sit and gawk ... but i don't feel quite as sorry for Haruko, maybe it's because i keep picturing myslef in Naota's shoes. Or maybe it was because she kinda betrayed Naora, i'm not sure. But what i'm not too sure of is what was Haruko's job? Why was she reporting to that cat? Was she really an investagator or was it just a front for her power hungry hobby?

meh, it was pretty sad, but it's nothing ... theres worse moments in anime. You should watch FLCL ... Now thats depressing ... End of Eva was pretty sad when a certain character died.

both of them were dead by end of eva ... they died in the series, end of eva is a second ending ... if you watch it in place of episodes 25 and 26 it makes some sense ... i was thinking of Misato, or Rei ... at least i think Rei died ...

Actually, if you go back, it seemed like every one was disapearing, leaving only their clothes. They where actually turning into LCL. So noone actually died due to the last angel was in fact humankind. At least that's what I think.

argh, to many quotes, any how, yes misato died, if you have the dvd of eoe, pause it just before the explosion, move foward a couple of frames, notice with great interest as one half of misato heads to the left, the other half towards the right...very interesting..yep, i think shes dead........

With rei, there was a hell of a lot of symbolism, the whole face falling in half thing, in the story of lilith, she fell in half or something like that, anyhow, rei just ceased to exist.but the real question is,, what happened to pen pen? did his at field survive..actualy, i think he was responsible for everything..hmm. yep, blame it on the penguin....oh, worked out gendos last words to ritsuko......'i like pie!' >bang<
