Uh, I don't think your bud is an anime purist so much as a dumb-ass. But there is still hope for him! If he ever learns to not blow silly things like that so out of proportion, that is.

I wonder though, why you always post about anime purity and dub-loving and how everyone seems so intolerant of the changes that are performed on anime as it makes from Japan over to the US, etc. Do you really think you are so alone in your beliefs and that everyone else in the forums are rabidly anti-american freaks? Granted, there are probably a few people like that here, but I bet most people are relatively normal and mild-mannered when it comes to anime. Well, that's just how you seem to come off to me...
