I Agree with you on the voice actors dubbed are better than the subbed.Rozard wrote:'Tis magifiqueI like the dub better than the Japanese track! Yuki sounds like a girl. I'd have to say that my favorite character is Shigure. "High school girls! High school girls!" ^o^
Kyo is my favorite thought.
Tohru's voice is way better than the japanese. I had to watch 3 eps subbed to get use to it, but I can't stand Yuki's girlly voice.

It's the nature of characters like that. Watch some subbed Card Captor Sakura. The character Yukito is similar. Hell, their names are even similar. If you check out the special features on the second disc, there's an interview with Yuki's voice, who is actually a female. (A rather outstanding actress, too, if I may say so myself.. has had many major roles, both male and female.)Bluemantis wrote:... Yuki's girlly voice.
Oh yeah, I just remembered... watch unsubbed Gundam Wing. Quatre has a female seiyuu too.

I know of a lot of female voice actors doing male voices, in mean the first 3 seasons of ranma even male ranma was do by a woman. Even if the female voice actor is good I can't get into the voice.Garylisk wrote:It's the nature of characters like that. Watch some subbed Card Captor Sakura. The character Yukito is similar. Oh
I've never really watched the Ranma dub... Except for 2 episodes on disc 5 of season 3 where the audio is screwed up and its dubbed no matter what language you select...
Gonna mail it in and get it replaced.. it was a mass error in the box sets...
And of course, before Ranma on DVD, I just saw Fansubs
