Well, despite there being many excellent choices, I have to go with....

Gatz (Guts) from Berserk.

Why? Well, because he is, simply put, the MAN. He's one of those guys that just makes you happy that you're a woman. He's strong and honorable.

Okay so he's got a past, but who doesn't? It's just makes him more of a puppy. :wink:
