Queen Emeraldas & Harlock saga

Has anyone here heard of it? It is great! If you like oldschool anime, and you enjoyed Harlock saga, then you will love it! Total classic! Has any one hear heard of Daft Punk? Has anyone seen their music videos? The animation is almost identical! I went and bought the CD because I watched the video so much, that not only did I like the anime, but the music as well. Anyways, Please reply if you like Queen Emeraldas. Or Harlock saga.

i haven't seen Harlock but iv'e seen and own the Emeraldas DVD, my favorite part is when the smoke clears, she's standing there in badass for and shoot her laser at that mini cruiser, and i saw the Daft Punk videos on Toonami when they showed them.

I love that part! but my fav part is when when she duels Queen.....oh crap, what's her name again? The one with the light blue curly hair? Anyways, that part rocked. I also like the part in the bar. (right before your fav scene) when she is waring the cloak, and she reveals to everyone who she is. She wares the cloak in Harlock saga. In fact, I don't think she ever takes it off in Harlock saga. You should see it.

Ahh, the wonderful world of Leiji Matsumoto. Here are some others you may like:
Arcadia Of My Youth - The Captain Harlock movie released back in the early 80's. Still looks good to this day.
Cosmo Warrior Zero - Follow Zero as he becomes Captain of a ship of robot men and humans on the trail of the wanted Captain Harlock.
Maetel Legend - Maetel (the girl that rides the Galaxy Express 999) and her origins of how her planet was taken over by robot men, how she and her sister (Queen) Emeraldas escaped.
Space Pirate Captain Herlock - Fairly new retelling of the original 1970's Space Pirate Captain Harlock (or Herlock) TV series. Cliffhanger ending!
The Cockpit - It's only on VHS, but it's three WWII stories of a German fighter pilot, a kamikaze pilot, and two Japanese soldiers brought together over a motorcycle and their final mission.
Gun Frontier - Captain Harlock set in the old wild west.
Inter5tella - The Daft Punk videos created by Leiji Matumoto. You may find it in Best Buy in the music category of DVDs.
