Manga hasn't done anything with the remastered movies yet, and frankly it'd scare me if they did remembering how they tend to churn out some horrid results.
The only way to get the remastered movies as of now is to get them imported. As of where and how I don't know anymore.

As dokool so kindly stated:reservoireddog wrote:Ohhhhhh so theres Renewal and theres Platinum, Si?
Renewal = Japanese R2 release that includes everything (movies and all).
Platinum = R1 release from ADV that includes Episodes 1-26 (plus Director's Cut releases).
In case you missed it the first time around, EoE and Death and Rebirth were NOT included because ADV did not have the rights. Manga Entertainment did. That's a different company altogether and who knows what they may do with the rights to those two movies.

ya vul. Renewal is the Japanese name; Platinum is the English name. It's like the difference between Detective Conan and Case Closed: same damn thing, but different title from one language to another.

Sorry I have not been around in a couple of days.
Thank you EmilLang1000. That finally put it simply.
Dokool I am not a lazy bastard. You misinterpreted the questions. Sorry I don't know every release in Japan. Some of us are yet to learn kanji. Or perhaps you thought I did not perform a search....presumptions in that case.
The questions were; is there a box set of platinum as in vol 1 - 7 in a box set not just vol 1 with a box and if there were plans to remake the movies/alternate endings.
I found nothing in my own searches, but I thought perhaps someone knew something I did not.
Guess I was right and that no such set or plans exists.....damn.
