did people know? [princess diana anime?]

did anyone know there was an anime made about princess diana becuase she was going to japan...it was called Diana...strange huh? it ended sumthing like "and they lived happily ever after", irony huh? who would have guessed.

Well it certainly wasn't called Diana, seeing how no searches seem to bring up that name.

okey doke heres the info-

the name was not diana it was "young princess diana story" 1986. japanese name niji no kanata e: shojo diana-hi monogatari.

end of the rainboy: princess diana story

it was a tv special directed by hidemi kama by oji suzuki, animation 501.

it was basically the eraly story of diana voiced by nausicaa actree sumi shimamoto.

im not sure as us audiences will ever view this strange anime but..hey...maybe...i hope this proves i wasnt lying!

Interesting enough; I wonder what it would be like if it were made today (would be quite a different story, I bet).

Anyways, I was merely skeptical to a healthy degree - and since it does exist, well, here's to another rather odd idea in the world

.....its shame some of the old anime can no longer be found..i think they should revise it and put it in some kind of special addition...id love to see all the wacky films that have been made.

If they did make an anime out of G.W., the ending would probaly be that all of the US would go up in flames, literally, seeing that hes the one who's screwed us. But thats just my opinion, that and if they did make an anime, someone should turn Bush into a monkey,(I see too many similarities)...

I think Diana would make a much more interesting anime now, since I don't think there was that much controversy around her back in the 80's. You know what they say about famous people who unexpectedly die... they tend arouse far more interest than the living ones. Though I don't think re-interpreting Diana's story now would be considered very politically-correct nowadays.

As far as a Dubya anime - I'd pay to see that! It'd work quite well, actually, since he has all the characteristics of the stereotypical American in anime!
At the very least, they could give him a guest appearance on Pokemon or something
