The text on the logo in this picture. Can anyone tell me what it says?

I think it reads:

Tereno Empireo Rapidmova Reakcii Armeo

I think it is Latin. Did anyone here take Latin courses in high school? Does anyone have a clue as to what it might mean?

I haven't taken any latin, but I'll take a wild guess that it means something like

"Earth Imperial Mobile Reaction Army"
(the first word seems to have something to do with earth, second - empire, third - fast-moving, 4th - reaction, 5th - army. Wouldn't it be logical?)

or something of the sort

it is a translation of latin

Sorry, I seem to enjoy analyzing stuff like that without referring to anything. (I'm a linguistics student, which hopefully explains it)

It's actually Esperanto (the second word is misspelled), and means something like "Terran Rapid Deployment Force". Esperanto is a putative universal language developed in the 19th century, and it has been a staple of science fiction (see the British TV show Red Dwarf) ever since, despite being spoken by practically nobody in real life.

(This Esperanto dictionary provided hints in translation.)

Actually, 'TERRA' is the name of the organization in the anime I got this screencap from, RahXephon. I'm happy that I finally know what it means - thank you all!

Otohiko, you really depress me by being so wise. How can someone be expected to compete?
