Episodes 18 and 19 or Naruto where Haku is accidentally killed by Kikashi and then Zabuza with 2 broken arms takes on a entire army of thugs. he thens dies after killing his former employer. one the greatest moments in all of anime. All Naruto fans will back me on this one.

another great moment is Vegeta Sacrificing himself against Buu in DBZ. great moment. i was really touched by it. Wow

Ahhh, it's even better when Vegeta cries. Every time he cries it is touching because he tries to be such a tough guy but the despair just gets to him.

An odd one, but:

In episode 24, Excel returns to Ilpalazo, but can't get in. She pounds her fists on the door until they bleed. Then Ilpalazo comes out, she does her Hail Ilpalazo thing, but he shoots her. Just like that. Perhaps it was the contrast from funny to sad that made it even more so, but who knows.

Dude, you're not the only one, that gets me every time. Shes so devoted to him, and the bastard just coldly shoots her straight through the chest. And its also the end of episode 23 that that happens. 24 is the episode with no gags, 25 is the "Final" and 26 is the "Going Way Too Far" episode.

Episode 23 of X gets me every time, when Sorata sacrifices himself to save the woman that he loves, and as hes gazing at her he smiles sweetly and says "God, you're so beautiful". Every time I see that I'm
Episode 16 of X is sad too, when Seishirou dies telling Subaru that he loves him. The last episode of X has a bittersweet ending, so its more like happy tears if you cry at it.

Episode 9 of Saikano - where Akemi confesses her love to Shuuji and dies in a rather painful-looking way..ahh what the hell am I saying, I spent more time crying at that series than I did with dry eyes.

Evangelion Episode 24 - when he fights Kaworu... when Kaworu looks up and says sadly "Shinji... you are late..." its like "awwwww... "

X/1999 (the X movie) - Right at the end, after everyone has died, and Kamui has nothing and no-one left in the world but Fuma, who is currently in the role of Dark Kamui, the Dragon of Earth. They fight, Kamui makes his decision, starts to cry, and beheads Fuma, completely unhinging himself in the process. I cried for a while after that.

RahXephon episode 19. Need I say more?

Trigun Episode 23 (i think) - After Vash wakes up and remembers wolfwoof dying, himself killing Legato... and he freaks out and starts screaming... that gets me every time. I dont know what episodes these scenes are in, but they're all from Trigun - When Milly makes Wolfwood a coffee, and Wolfwood starts crying because he doesnt know if he made the right choice or not, when Brad jumps in front of the bullets Leonof the Puppetmaster fires at Vash, sacrificing his life in the process, and Wolfwoods death scene, especially when he tears up and cries out "I don't want to die (or something like that, its been a while since i saw it)"

Dragonball Z - When Vegeta is crying to goku about what Frieza did, although its much more touching in the original dub. Also when Goku sacrifices himself to save Gohan against Cell, and when Vegeta sacrifices himself to destroy Buu.

Love Hina Episode 24 makes me a bit teary, as does the Christmas special.
