Boogiepop and Others

If you didn't know, a bit torrent for the live action movie came out this past week and tonight I finally got a chance to see it. As a fan of the series, I found it diffucult at first to get used to seeing real actors and associating everyone to their respective characters from the novels/anime. But in the end, I thought it was rather enjoyable. The narration was structured similar to the anime in its disjointed, circular sort of way. It still doesn't compare to the psychological thriller the anime was but for its modest budget, this was a pretty good adaptation of the first novel.

If you're a fan of Boogipop Phantom, do check it out. And comment on what you thought of it.

Also, as you say that it's a pretty good adaptation of the first novel, I assume that you have read it? Has it been translated then, and if so, where might I find it?

No translation. Just synopsis and reviews I've read on it (compared to the movie). And after seeing it myself, I think they were pretty close.

any chance of the live action coming out with english dub, or should i just get the sub through bt ? and the vid is subbed, right ?
