Neon genesis live action movie?

Hey any one have any info on the neon genesis live action moive? I have heard little about it, all i know is its got like 100 million buget and the CG team from LOR is working on it. oh and they are working with the original eva publisher. just wondering if any one heard any thing else about it. I personaly don't think it can hold up to the serse but if they do what they were talking about which is a live action version of Death and rebirth, It might be ok but im not putting to much money on it turning out awsome.
