BPS cancelled and pulled off the air? spoilers

Looks like BPS got pulledoff the air?

At beginning of ep 05 pt 3 The shows says this:

"Illusion and reality become impartiality and confidence. This BPS, Battle Programmer Shirase, which is now in its last part, has raised much discussion in prasie and scorn, both for and against.

Everyone who enjoyed the show on TV, everyone outside the broadcast area who took special actions to watch the show on their PC monitors, and everyone overseas who watched it subtitled, the Director Hayashi Hiroki would like to apologize for the sudden ending."

At the end it says:

"And thus this is where the story began. Shirase Akira, also known as BPS, Battle Programmer Shirase, What is reflected in those dry sad eyes? Things lost, things gained, And what has he seen in the dark corners of the vast net? Which of Illusion, reality, and code is he thinking about right now? Where is the dream left unseen?, If the truth can be cut from the falsehoods that leak out from the loopholes..we'll tell the story when we next have the chance"

The last scene is what looks like an old Shirase in a chair and behind the chair is a full grown Misao and Yoriko but they are partially obscured by shadow.

o_O. That's too bad. It wasn't a great show but for only 10 minutes an ep it wasn't such a bad investment of time. I think it's cool how the director recognized his overseas fans too though, if indeed he did and it wasn't just the fansubbers adding it in.

I know some of the posters on Anime Suki forums live in Japan so I was hoping to get ahold of them and ask them if it has been pulled but alas Anime Suki forum still seems to be down.

I really liked the show also and am going to be upset if it doesnt finish. I saw comments recently that it was very popular but also very controversial. SOme people dodnt seem to realize it is a parody and satire type comedy.

Exactly!!

I sure hope it wasn't cancelled.. Maybe the rest of it could be released as an OAV or something... 8)
I wouldn't mind!!
