What's anime's appeal?

Some like it for the varying genres, others for the artistic style, and there's always that segment of the population that feeds off of the misogynistic undercurrents and wish-fufillment themes that occur in the vast majority of titles.

this might not make any sence but i like anime because anythings possible, for some reson i find that with the storys of animes would just seen fake and chesee if they where done by actors,
oh and they way they pimip off the female caritors(sp?) ^_^
