Are you just going through and looking for Hellsing topics? STOP Necroposting. These threads died for a reason. And as far as the Dracula thing goes, the creator probably just used the name dracula backwards for the hell of it, probably had no intention of connecting Alucard to the original dracula.

Actually in the japanese language the sound of an L is much like that of the english R and the sound of their R is like the english L. This is where the old asian comment, "Flied Lice" comes from.

oh ... it works the other way around too eh ... hmm i didn't know that.

Either way ... its Alucard ... some times he's refered to as the son of Dracula (like in Castlevania), but in this case he is Dracula.
