Ninja Resurrection

I rented this form the video store and i have some questions about it, and i figured you guys would know since you are anime pros.

First is more of a point but this and Ninja Scroll are supposedly sequals, but the only similarity i could find was that the main character's first names are the same.
ok, my real question is if there is a Ninja Resurrection 2. I got really cunfused after watching this because the movie just ends out of nowhere after the demons killl a bunch of people. IS THIS THE END?? IS THERE MORE?? the DVD says that it contains the "episodes" Jubei's Revenge and Hell's Spawn.

the thing is...ADV shamelessly advertised Ninja Ressurrection as Ninja Scroll's sequal..which it is not..and the Jubai's in both are different people.

There will prolly never be another Ninja Ressurection, the origional was crippled in production cause their budget was cut short, hense why the animation looks like total shit in some parts, and good in others. More or less I think the series/ova was cut short before they could possibly end it on a decent note.

Of course some of these facts might be wrong about the production costs..I don't remember entirly.

I heard some really bad things about ninja resurrection but decide to check it out a few weeks ago, I acuity found it at my local blockbuster. Anyway it wasn’t as bad as I had heard, it was worse. If anyone out there has seen ninja scroll to two are not related. I liked ninja scroll, but ninja resurrection was a waste of time.
