is it any good. what is it about. if anyone has a summary or a link to one please tell me couse my friend told me he saw one ep and it looked cool but i want to know more about it befor i get it

I'm really enjoying it for some odd reason. It's done by Toriyama. Which is really weird cause i hated DBZ. However, I do warn you they insert quite a few flashbacks, mainly to point out much needed information though. Fight scenes are stretched out a bit, but still after 52 episodes and 187 Manga Chapters, I am eagerly waiting the release of each new one.

Basically Story is Ninjas. Not the historically correct version though. Ninjas are trained throughout asia and different villages with different types of ninjas. Ninjas have their own abilities and stuff. Like this one kid has bugs living inside of him that he uses to his advantage. One ninja has these eyes (leaving out a bunch to not spoil) that can read and copy other forms of combat of other ninjas.

Anyways, I like it. The Manga is good too. Also has some kickin music that really pumps up the action. If ya need info or help getting umm, "resources" of it, PM me and I'll help ya.

Naruto is definetly worthwhile. Really good drawing and features some heavy Metalriffs that gives me the chills in good fight scenes.

Well, it's still going on in Japan.... And at the rate of the anime series going to catch up to the Manga.... Manga = chapter 187 right now. Anime series point in the Manga = Chapter 98-100 I believe. And one new episode / manga chapter a week. Maybe if they release it before they finish...

It's not licensed in the USA yet for a fact or a few groups wouldnt be subbing it.

started to watch it. it looks really good. just din't dig the whole shoes with toes sticking out gig with Naruto and his coach. the hair is also, eh. but the anime overall is worth checking out.

Actually from what I remember, they never actually mention that it takes place in Asia. The guy who created it idiolized DB so its very likely that he used the alternate Earth idea for Naruto.
