Hmmm looking in one version of Japenese to english terms we are basicly calling ourselves nerd/geek/enthusiast.

I am an anime fan yes..... mmmmm Anime....

Seriously... I'm all for that stuff. I've got fan fiction, man. And the links to all those Japanese fan art sites. Let me tell you, they definetly don't hold back on the slash. Holy smokin' Tolkien! In speaking of which, dear J.R.R.T must be twirling in his grave because of what I've done to his poor, defensless characters. X3 Especially Frodo, man. No punches pulled on that guy, that's for sure.

Well, of course the word "otaku" has a totally different meaning in Japan, but all western/european countries use it as a word to describe their love to anime and manga! And so do I! May the Japanese laugh their asses of, I still call myself an otaku! And I'm proud of being one!
