My opinion on the love triangle between Ranma/Akane/Ryoga

I love the Ranma 1/2 show but there is something that I just find stupid about it.

How could Ranma and Akane truly love each to be married. Yes i know in the manga they are meant to be in love, etc etc but I quite honestly dont think the marriage would last. Before you know it if in realistic terms Ranma and Akane's relationship would end up being just another episode on the Jerry Springer Show title "My husband is a woman in cold water, and I hate him/her". I honestly think for the fact that they fight too much I honestly dont think it would work out in the long run.

Me being a pro-Ryoga, I think Ryoga and Akane fit better but know in the manga and probably in the anime he is not meant to be with Akane even though I dont see why not I think they are more perfect for each other than Ranma is. I dont like how the creator of Ranma 1/2 in my opinion just thrown up a perfect woman for Ryoga and through the last manga I believe make Ryoga all of a sudden take back all his aggression for Ranma and his love for Akane. I honestly did think it set the matter straight nor being right to end Ryogas character like that. I felt it would have been much better for Ryoga to fall of Ukyo some time at the end of the manga, etc etc than just throw in Akari for Ryoga just so he doesn't end up alone, I felt that was just lazy.

But I know in the end Akane and Ranma are together, Ryoga and Akari go together, etc etc. I never read the manga I am only talking of what I heard from the manga so I can be wrong about it. However I seen all the anime. I thought I might as well say it and get off my chest. I was just wondering if anyone felt the same or could bring some insight on what I may have gotten wrong from the manga or anything else.
