There are plenty of complaints about how anime can simply suck after being processed. I haven't heard of many that are considered stilled enjoyable even after processing. The usual processing is subbing/dubbing and that debate is located in another thread.
so, what are the anime that are enjoyable to watch, can still relate to the original story well, and/or is edited in such a way that the anime has a totally different storyline but still has promise?
generally, the one that comes to mind is yu-gi-oh (for the normal population) because of teh third reason. the storyline has been altered to an extreme, but somehow it has caught the attention of a huge audience and is doing relatively well. while this may not set well with ppl who enjoyed the anime at its true nature, others prefer it at the edited state because for one, it has been said to be less violent, still captivating, adult issues (such as sexual intercourse) don't appeal to the "kid" population.
