But revolvers ARE counted as handguns.
Anyhow, it'd be a mess, irregardless.

Yes, but the 500 Magnum is the most powerful handgun in the REVOLVER CLASS. The .475 Wildey Magnum is the most powerful handgun overall. The .475 Wildey Magnum has a far higher muzzle velocity and stopping power (the Wildey cartridge can drop an elephant at 100 yards). Even Smith and Wesson admit the 500 Magnum is the most powerful revolver.
The major difference in stopping power and muzzle velocity in autoloaders and revolvers is in their action. Autoloaders rob part of the bullet's kinetic energy by using the expanding gasses to operate the bolt (in the case of the Desert Eagle, and .475 Wildey, this is a rotating bolt assembly, similar to those used by assault rifles). Revolvers, on the other hand, are powered solely by the user drawing back the hammer, and squeezing the trigger (the trigger should never be pulled or jerked, because this jerks the pistol towards the left, and down). Because revolvers do not use the bullet's energy in ejection, primary extraction, locking the bolt assembly, and firing the new cartridge, the maximum amount of power of a cartridge is achieved with a revolver, rather than an autoloader of the same chambering.
Of course, the cartridge itself is what makes the Wildey Magnum more powerful than the 500 Magnum. The .475 is basically a high caliber African rifle cartridge shortened, and expanded. The adjustable gas recoil system allows the user to fine-tune the autoloading action of the pistol to meet the performance of the specific loading. So, the amount of parasitic loss on the bullet can be controlled.
But even if a .475 Wildey Magnum round of a smaller loading than a 500 Magnum went head to head against the Smith and Wesson, there are differences in the bullet performance at different ranges. For example, the .357 Magnum, while having less muzzle energy than a .44 Magnum, has a higher bullet energy at 100 yards than the .44 Magnum, and a higher velocity. The .375 Magnum, .38 Special, and .38 Super all use the .355 caliber bullet, which when propelled by the typical loading of 115-160 grain has a relatively flat trajectory, which is far more accurate at distance than the .44 Magnum.
So, the .475 Wildey Magnum may have the same loading, but the bullet's aerodynamics and mass determine the performance of the bullet at distance.

The typical 500 Magnum round costs about $2-$5. As far as I know, there is only one company that produces ammo for the .475 Wildey Magnum, and it's homepage is linked to the Wildey firearms homepage.
Handloading is far more cost effective, and gives the user more accurate tolerancing when it comes to bullet loads.
Okay, this has gotten pretty far off topic, so it's time to return to the matter at hand:
Females in general just piss me off, so anime females (which are basically overexaggerated, and hyper-emotional) just make me sick. Every female I've met was a manipulative, whiny bitch (aka: Christian bisexual). In every instance in dealing with the opposite gender, they lie, cheat, and flaunt their bodies to get whatever they want, with no regard for others.
Why does Hillary Clinton still stick with Bill? Ever since they were married, Bill was merely the puppet, while Hillary was the political mastermind. She's actually a lesbian (as admitted by Dick Morse, and other Clinton Administration cabinet members), so there's no other motivation to stick with that slimy red-neck, than to increase her prestige. Why do you think she just wrote that book? You don't believe me? Watch the movie "The Manchurian Candidate", and you'll see exactly what she's doing.
Females confuse me as well. They make these demands for equal treatment and pay compared to men, but they consistently throw all sense of morality away when it comes to competition. Their friends show a little skin to get a man, and they have to show more. Their boss doesn't think they have the skills to get that promotion at work, they'll sleep with him to take it. They start failing a math or history class, they'll give the professor head to get those extra credit points. But through all of this manipulation, they somehow retain that sense of pride, and demand equal treatment.
So, when I watch anime girls bouncing all over the screen, beating the crap out of the male characters, but then turning all helpless and emotional when they need to manipulate the man, I just realize the Japanese pretty much have it all figured out.

Ah! Good point...well...as someone else said, if she figured all this out earlier, I am willing to bet she could kick some major ass to the other angels, but yeah good point...under NORMAL circumstances she would've won...argh!TheRealNeoHentaiMaster wrote:dwchang wrote: She beat all those Production Evas (05 - whatever) by herself. Given she just realized her mother was watching her and all that, but still...she did it.
You mean the ones SHE THOUGHT SHE BEAT...but then came back and literally ripped her to pieces? yeah....that was some victory.....Face it, Asuka, along with pretty much ever other cast member of Eva are the WORST MOST ANNOYING CHARACTERS EVER!. So what if they have suposed depth? They are still annoying has hell too watch.
I do agree that most of the characters are annoying, but at the same time, I think they were meant to be. They are all exaggerations of human traits we all possess and thus the exaggerations were necessary to drive in the points...given I'm fairly sure you knew all this and I'm preaching to the choir.

You know... after the fourth Angel is defeated, but before the thirteenth, Shinji is a reasonably stable and non-whiny guy. He has no problem getting in the saddle and even stands up to Asuka a few times. I think the beginning and ending episodes gave Shinji a worse rap than he deserves.
Yes, I just realized this.
Rei is a lot more perceptive than we give her credit for. Ex: "You've been watching me because you wanted to ask me that?"
