I know what you mean....almost as if it's pronounced "Fudi Kudi"

Another funny play on the title was one of the episode titles - "HRKR" (that due to the fact that Japanese does not make a distinction between certain consonants whereas English does.)

But.. there is a definite distinction between H and F in romanji and (the corresponding sounds) in kana :|

Not in the case of "Fu" and "Hu" there's not

Sometimes when you hear "futari" it even sounds more like "hutari". So, it could also be Huri Kuri if you wanted to... 8) such universally ambiguous title

Wasn't that episode 4, "FuriKiri", which became "Full Swing" in the English version? I sort of wondered why they'd replaced the F with an H when that wasn't even the syllable they were changing...

lmao ... the only reason i comprehend as much of that as i do is becasue have you guys and the dirrectors comments for each episode along with the huge bookelt that cems with each dvd ... no way in hell is any one going to understand what's going on if they play it over the air, FLCL is grea, but it's not for tv, not in america at least .... plus it's a general rule of thumb for CN or AS or whatever ...

get a good series ...
edit untill it has a totaly different meaning, or none at all,
then broadcast .... i hate TV ...

oh and hi again ... jsut poping at while i'm at school.

I for one is glad that FLCL will make the adult swim. This series deserves more exposure.

Oh no, I'm not against it's exposure at all! Question is, will it get the sort of exposure it deserves?

I mean, whatever they say, it's simply not true that 'any exposure is good exposure'. Not true at all.
