What is the deal? I can find on sources like DC(++) and KaZaA, Hanaukyo Maid Tai episodes up to 15. It’s difficult but it's there. Now mind you I have 1-12 on R2 dvd. However at the end of ep 15

Ikuyo inserts a VHS tape containing Hanaukyo Maid Tai episodes 16, 17 and 18 and proceeds to tape over them. I was wondering if they were insinuating that 15 was the end of the series for whatever reason. I have also read somewhere that "13", "14" and "15" are actuality a 3 episode OVA series. Which kind of makes sense since they aren't the same lengths as the rest of the episodes. I find it somewhat odd however that a series end on episode 15, let alone 12. 13, 27 now those are normal numbers! I just figured between the 150 billion .org members one HAS to know the truth.

1 - 12 ends with an impossible Marriage Canidate . . true.
at the end of 15, if you recall, she had forgotten that she cross-dressed her Master and then Blondely place Episodes 16, 17, 18 into the VCR and Hit Record . . also true.
. actually, I wish there were MORE of the series ^_______^ I like it ^^

lets face the facts' about the series:
1) he like Merial.
2) he's allergic to girls T_T
3) the 3 main Maids have declaired what there purpose in life was.
and
4) he is being chased around Japan - by a Girl who confuses Sailing around the Island in a Cruiser which is nothing more than A Battle Ship ~_~
we really don't need to see any more of the series to know that `his life, because of girls, now SuCkS !!! - hehe

From what I noticed the series just upbruptly finished.
I'm guessing like so many it was a flop in japan and they didn't see the point of continueing a series that was wasn't going to sell.
Although it was highly enjoyable I don't imagine to many western distrubitors would even bother licencing it.
