id douse myself with lighter fuel, and torch myself for even comtemplating such a thing......

in seriousness thought, id get anno and the mech design team involved, need to have those eva's looking good dont we?? I agree with others that it could only be done in a 'spirit within' style, as i doubt that there are many actors that would either A) Act so whiny or B) Be able to pull of rei look and personality. I just cant see it happening........ oh well. With this out of the way, id follow the manga instead of the anime, as the manga is darker and more people die ( toji dies, this adds a wonderfull scene for shinji to beat himself up over), also for the reason of more history about kaji and other characters..., also, the manga was more about the characters than the evas vs angels ( less angels in the manga, i think there only gona be twelve? follows the appostles angle...hmm) Any how, after finish such a monumental project, id descend into madness as fans and critics tear it apart about how i bastardised such a great anime series
