hmm is it jsut me or did session 11 bear an uncanny resemblance to Alien? The whole thing with Spike wandering though the ship hunting down that one little ... lobster alien?
Also what ever happened to everyone that was bit/poisoned? I guess that after ed ate the alien he devloped an immunity of some sort to the poison and they syntesyzed an antidote from Ed? But how in the hell was she able to pick up the thing and just eat it without being poisoned? Or is this one of those magical fixes ... they made it to the end of the episode therefore they get to be revived for the next one ... meh, i still like the show, it's jsut that this seems to be somewhat weird ...
CB session 11 ... WTF? (probably gonna have spoilers)

i dont know .. i always just looked at this episode as a humorus side track to the story .. a way to ease the tension so - to - speak .... its all done in good fun

...the problem I see a lot is that many good amv makers think they suck, and many bad amv makers think they're good.

well yes ... it was but, still ... it would have been nice if they had at least concluded it with them syntheszying an antidote rather then every one floating around seeming dead ...FATTY_VM wrote:i dont know .. i always just looked at this episode as a humorus side track to the story .. a way to ease the tension so - to - speak .... its all done in good fun

I'm pretty sure it was supposed to be a parody of Alien, actually. It's too similar to not be at least partially inspired by it.
Most likely explanation is that the thing's venom simply rendered them unconscious and they came out of it naturally, no antitoxin necessary. Maybe it's a heavy sedative, not poison per se.

well thats probably it, but it acted a bit slow to be much of any thing ... but then again i'm thinking too much with biology again. For the poison of sedative to be an effective defense or weapon it would have to work quickly rather then taking hours for it to take it's effects. But it's a cartoon ... i don't think they'd go into that much detail with the whole evolution of a functional defense mechanism like that ... for christ sake it was a lobster that got locked in the fridge ... and yea, it most likely was a parody of aliens ... Spike even got to use a flame thrower like Riply did.Chaos Angel wrote:I'm pretty sure it was supposed to be a parody of Alien, actually. It's too similar to not be at least partially inspired by it.

well i knew that the crew was ok, because i watched past that session and made it to session 17. But i was just wondering if there was any kind of explination for how that stuff had happened ... and there was .. it was a little comic relief, an alien parody coupled with an ironic death for the alien. And who cares of yrou post isn't helping or not ... theres lots of posts on this forum that make yours look like ladder ...
wait a minuite ... i don't think any one else will get taht but lets see if you guys can surpirse me ... but this is problaby just a bad similie ...
