anyone seen much Saiyuki?

I have seen a few posters for this show and they all look like yaoi but the new issue of newtype has the first ep. and it looks nothing like the posters show. i was just wandering if it ends up like the posters show or what. and if not then why do the posters look so bad. the only posters i have seen are the one in the same issue of newtype and one someone gave my roommate at c-kon.

Whatever yaoi is in Gensoumaden Saiyuki is only apparent to fans of yaoi who want to see yaoi in Gensoumaden Saiyuki. So it's all due to an overactive imagination. Plus, the opening sequence has a lot of fanservice which is probably what the posters are based on. But other than that, there really is no yaoi in it. It's like saying Wolf's Rain is yaoi.

thats cool. i was just wandering cause the poster in newtype shows the four guys with thier shirts off lether pants and in chains. anyone i know that has seen it thought it looked.....wrong. i have seen more of wolfs rain so i can see what you mean about that.

Like I said, that's from the opening sequence. It's only for about 4 sec. and all it shows is them posed angstily. It's my favorite part of the opening sequence.

Of course, there's also the part when Goku and Gojyo are fighting over who gets to sleep in the bed when the group is staying at an inn and the maid sees them fighting on the bed and misconstrues it.

But that's just like the toboe liking tsume's thigh thing. It's all implied and in your head.

I haven't seen much of Saiyuki all I've seen is the preview for it on my Sakura Wars DVD! I want to see it though although I have no idea where to find it at...

I saw the whole first season, minus the last four eps of the first season..(The DVD was messed up).

Most people will find the series boring, in my point of view. It's only about people and yukai(basically werewolves) and angsty people.

Sure as hell woudl love to see the ending, though.

(KLin, Earlier I had thought I had seen the whole hting, and "announced" that on the forum, but just recently I found out that what I had borrowd was only the first season and was all like "So THAT'S why that wasn't concluded..." Lol, yeah, I'm stupid..)
