I don't really care about Dragon Ball GT, but here's some news from a friend of mine. I figure someone on this board will care.

OK so my friend Josh was hanging out up and Gamestop with his friend Tammy. They got their shipment in, and in it was the first disc of DBGT. Guess what?

They completely cut off the beginning of the show. The Funimation first disc starts on, like, episode 24 or so. (That is according to Josh anyway). He is just like "Thank god I have high quality fansubs... I'm never gonna buy those DVDs now!"

Just goes to show that Funimation hasn't COMPLETELY stopped their BS yet.. They're trying though. (Fruits Basket.. that's all I gotta say.. they're trying to get better..)

Umm, well, they are gonna dub those eps, they just didnt bother with them at first cause NO ONE EVER LIKES THOSE EPS. I mean, long before GT was ever gonna come out, people didnt even care if it did cause everyone seems to think it sucks, especially the begining. So now Funi just goes and decides to skip over it cause apparently no one wants to see it anyway. If you ask me, Funi is doing everyone a favor.

I would prefer that they keep the first episodes myself, it was like DB all over again and since DB was the only series in the sad set of series I think GT was descent because of it. I guess they have been taken over by the "toonami" effect. Kids love lots of action with no plot so they just cut straight to the action. Oh well, I hate GT anyways and never really planned on watching it dubbed. The only part of the series that I actaully liked was when Vegeta powered and screamed " I am an Earthling with Saiyan pride!!"
