I haven't watched much anime on DVD, but so far, I'd say that Excel Saga's was the best I've gotten (I love the ACROSS membership card! {Hey, Rule 1 of ACROSS is that you don't talk abut ACROSS!!!} Oh yeah. Ignore what was previously posted) But I'd have to say the worst I've seen was Armitage III: Poly-Matrix. The menu control was horrible for my DVD player, and there isn't even the Japanese dialouge! What the fuck is that about?!

i agree with Ko Oh Yoku, vandread definitely sets the standard for a solid dvd release
AOL discs.... just chuck 'em

I like my Read or Die & Vandread Integral OVA DVDs, never saw a domestic DVD I could stand.
