No big deal, really, since I can always watch things later or in another room.
But see, that sort of thinking requires common sense, something I seem to lack. I can seriously be a real airhead sometimes. It's quite embarrassing. I'm not even blonde!SarahtheBoring wrote:I just try and gauge who will be around when I'm watching anime, and whether they'll tweak out about anything in that particular one. That's why I normally watch anime in my room, by myself, where I don't have to explain my actions to people. I also usually try to be careful about watching anything "questionable" in the living room. This time, it just kind of went wonky. -_-SarahtheBoring wrote:I just try and gauge who will be around when I'm watching anime, and whether they'll tweak out about anything in that particular one. Lol, that happens all the time to me. I don't really care anymore because my parents just don't care what we watch. I was about 12 when I watched Ninja Scroll, and my step-dad came in during one of the more... explicit scenes. And then he came in during some of the more twisted parts of EoE. He still thinks anime is stupid though. The only good things on TV, to him, are the History channel and war documentaries. So I had him watch Now and Then, Here and There along with some other somewhat war-related animes. But to no avail. Meh... he can remain ignorant. His loss.Soldier_of_roses wrote:Parents almost always walk in when the scenes with nudity in them appear. They must have some kind of radar.
