My favorite companies are Pioneer, Anime Works, Bandi, and Viz.

Yeah, amazing what can happen if a program has good writing and direction.

Unforetuantely, many American animation studios trying to mimic the success of anime are still just looking at the style and not the heart of anime. Some American stuff riding on the coat tails of the Anime boom might look cool (Titan A.E.) but they lack any substance to make them really enjoyable.

What do japan think about our animations. They must watch so of it because have a south park parody in FLCL.

I know South Park, Simpsons, and Powerpuff Girls were or are still running currently on Japanese TV. However, Simpsons and South Park especially are both typically rewritten to cater to Japanese tastes in humor as a lot of the references in both these works would fly over the heads of the general Japanese audience. I have heard, however, that over all none of these shows are super popular, though they have loyal followers who seem entranced by the popularity of these shows in America.
