Vegas codec problem

My Vegas won't read most of my files even doh i have the codecs :( anyone know why?

=| u could not resist couden't yah?But yeh i don't wanna make uncompresed,huffy or lagarith since my PC has a small memory atm is there any way to solve the problem without having to convert the files to mpeg etc.

There's not a magic way to make XviD work in Vegas. It's not meant to be edited in the first place. =|

If you have HDD space issues, go buy an external drive. They're getting pretty cheap these days.

Oh, that's true. I always forget about that.

If you'd like to use fake AVIs in Vegas, then you'll need AviSynth and either MakeAVIS or VFAPI. VFAPI is in the AMVapp, last I checked. Here's the guide for it.
