How to Change Vegas 7 Layout?

Post by dvstudio3 » Sat Jan 10, 2009 3:10 am

Okay well i've been playing around with vegas 8 Pro Trial and and it was really good for the time, so i decided to buy it.

Although when i first looked at the price tag $199 Student Acedemic Version

Yeah well as a student i cant really afford it (especially since the only thing im going to do with it is make amvs)

Although i saw the previous Vegas 7e version at my Uni for $50 so yeah i decided to get that one instead (i hope there isnt much difference to the versions other than the layout since i couldn't find anything different other than the support of .flac with 8)

Anyways since installed (version 7 btw), I cant figure out how to customise the layout so it can look similiar (if not identical) to vegas 8. (dont ask me why, its just it feels more comfortable since ive used vegas 8 trial litterally every day of the trial period)

Any help wiill be great :) THanks

Thanks to the helpful amv members ( particularly <Sanya-nya>) at the irc chatroom.

This is how you do move and customise the layout of the timeline to the top:

Options > Preferences > Display > Display Timeline at the bottom of main window at the irc chatroom
