How Do I Import .AVI into Sony Vegas?

How Do I Import .AVI into Sony Vegas?

I can't figure out how to do it. If someone could help me it would be of great help. Thanks guys.

The same way you import any other footage into vegas. <s>you try to take over the world!</s>

divx/xvid avi (as well as any h.264 video) is not meant for editing, lossless clips are the way to go

Thanks for the help. But...thanks to VirtualDub and the Huffy Codec....I got it. :) Thanks for the help nonetheless guys. :)

drag and drop works for me all the time, i donno what your problem is, unless you aren't using lossless footage :P

I'm trying out sony vegas aswell.... its damn complicated...
gotta try that drag n' drop, I couldn't figure out how to import aswell xD

I use Sony Vegas too (ver. 7.0) and i've got the same problem. When I want to import avi files, I use double-click. Some videos are Ok but most of them (they're, of course, video - I've checked it many times) are just audio - no video :( Can anybody help me?
