Vegas 7 - Help!
Okay, my problem is when I try to do a simple transition from clip to clip, like a fade in or fade out (SIMPLE!), the clips kinda get jerky or stop at the transition point and then don't start playing until it gets out of the transition area in the next clip.
Did any of that make sense?
Can someone help?
I'm running on Windows Vista, (maybe that has something to do with it???).

Get Gspot, it's a program that you don't even have to install. Download it here. Drop the file into that program and it'll tell you the compression.
Come back and tell us the compression and we can lend a hand.

Everything came from nothing, therefore everything is nothing.
There's nothing to worry about.

Thank you guys for all your help thus far!
-AaronAMV: That link helped a lot, thank you!

-Vivaldi: I tried the pre-rendering thing and it worked! At first....The first time I played with the pre-rending, it showed me the transitions in their entirety, but when I tried to watch them for a second time, they went back to doing what they did in the beginning.
I dled Gspot and it says that it's a DivX codec.
I've used "Media Coder" in the past to convert music files...What container and what codec do you PERSONALLY recommend for the best quality without breaking your HD?
(Plus any other info that you can give to help me out would be fantastic! ;3 ).
