1) Try rendering to a different codec?

2) You do have write permission to whatever disk you're writing to, right? (Ok...that sentence sounded weird. >_>)
... yea ...

last time I had trouble with sony vegas ppl told me that both lagavith and huffyluv was fine because they where both lossless codecs... now I need to change? does that mean that I will have to start my amv over?

lagarith? huffyuv? both should be fine as a source...

usually when there is a rendering problem it's due to whatever your source files are encoded with.... unfortunately vegas doesn't seem to be giving you the answer either...

have you tried saving your progress and restarting your computer?
