importing images into vegas 6

Post by prYzm » Thu Oct 04, 2007 7:39 am

ok i edited an image in photoshop that i wanted to use, or more accuratly cut out the part i wanted from an image. i save it but then when i load it into vegas, the default background is white instead of transparent. is there an option in vegas to either remove the white, or a setting i need to keep the transparency on the background (so i that i can put my cutout image over something)
otherwise the defaulted white background just covers up the image i want to place it over, eliminating the whole purpose of cutting out the image.

failing that, is there another method i should use to reedit my image (thru virtualdub or w/e, thats how i got my snapshot in the firstplace).

ne1 who can help thx =D

Save your picture as .png,of you haven't done that in the first place.

If your picture is already in .png, then I guess you've done something wrong in PS. Most likely, you haven't turned your picture into 1-layer picture instead of leaving it as locked background.

I'm preparing masking for my next vid,and I've already done 57 frames out of ~1000. So I don't think that 5 pics is a hard work to do >.>
