Vegas Issues

Post by aaiiry » Tue Jun 12, 2007 10:57 pm

I have really no problems with my Vegas. I love it, and it loves me. We get along. But upon coming across the Idiot's Guide, I realized - Vegas was holding out on me o_o Now that I realize Vegas can selectively mask without Cookie Cutter, I want it. But masking does not show up in my Pan menu. I have 6.0, and it's registered and everything. The help menu suggests I have the capability, but it's just not showing up. Might'n there be something I have to turn on to get it to show?

Kitsuner had a similar problem, and it was because he had Vegas Movie Maker (or something along those lines), which basically boils down to a 'Premiere Elements' version of Vegas. One way to check, how many video tracks does your version allow you to have? I think the limited version (for dislike of calling it the wrong name [possibly] again) restricts you to four.

Hopefully this sheds a little light on the problem,

Oh, well, yeah, that would explain. I do only have four tracks. Oh well, what I've got serves it's purpose well. If not, I can whine to Sony when I call to replace my broken disk >__>;

Thank you though, I'll go back to my life now.
