3-way split screen with Vegas 6

Could anyone please tell me how to get a 3-way split screen using Vegas 6.0? I'm not very knowledgeable about this program at all. I've just begun learning things like the keyframes.

What I am trying to do are 3 way DIAGONAL splits down the screen over a clip to three words of the song. In other words, the diagonal splits appearing are supposed to be timed with the song. I can do the timing well I'm sure, but only once I know how to do the 3 splits.

Sorry if I sound vague. I'm bad at explaining things. >.< Lol.

you could use the "triangle" cookiecutters
or use the "mask" option under "pan and crop" to make them fit how you want them to fit.

put the clips onto three different layers, and cut them accordingly... use the preivew box to make sure your masks line up
