Sony Vegas-Green/Purple light on the bottom?

So a friend of mine is running into a few problems in sony vegas. Since I don't know much about the program I'm not sure what's wrong with it.

This is what he said:

For one more time vegas is killing me!:)
In my last videos a stupid green/purple light appeared!And it's pretty annoying!I thought that it was Magic Bulletz problem but it wasn't!(this light shows up only on the rendered project and not while editing)

Examples:

No color effects


New blue colour effect


Magic bullet


It is so annoying!So anyone have an idea what's the problem?

Can you get details about what s/he inputs (codec) and outputs (codec as well, does s/he render and encode separately or use the Vegas export only)? ^^

I suspect one of those is a culprit.
