Vegas Won't Open

This started happening today. Whenever I try and open it, it freezes on the Initializing DirectX plug-ins. The last time I used it, last Saturday, it was working fine, and nothing has changed on my laptop since then. Well, I got a new anti-virus a couple weeks ago and changed some settings around, but I don't think that's it.

I tried doing a System Restore and that didn't work, so I resorted it back. I tried running it as administrator and still nothing.

I'm using Vegas Pro 8 with 32-bit Vista.

If anyone has any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated.
