another question, i see amv's with black "flashes" or white flashes but black, but same effect. i can't seem to find a fade in from black. i tried the color black but it failed pretty bad, or i'm doing something wrong.

I think what your looking for is the fade in/out from black transition.Do a crossfade between the two clips where you want the black flash like this

then just drag the transition into the crossed area

Just to clarify for those that may have a problem with this, be sure that Automatic Crossfading is on:

Ok me again with another transition question.

What I want is basically the "Left to Right" 3D blinds transition but modified slightly.Instead of the 4 bars it uses,I want 3.And I also want to make it slower. And also instead of the 1 clip I want 3 different "bars" of clips.

Any idea how I'd go about doing that?I was thinking of having to mask out the bars from the clips I wanted first and placing that on another layer. But then how'd I make it flip over like that transition but only slower?

another question, i see all these amv's with these lines going across the screen to the beat. they're 2 parallel lines that come in and turn around. i've been trying to figure this out but i'm stumped.
